Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Creator Creator (“we”, “us”) handles your personal data when you use our website, apps, and services. We try to keep things minimal: what we collect, we collect to make the product work.

1. Data we collect

  • Account info: email address and (if you sign in with Google or Apple) the basic profile data those providers share.
  • Content you save: URLs, captions, transcripts, and analysis we generate from links you paste into the app.
  • Usage: what features you use, when, and basic device info (browser, OS) so we can debug issues and improve the product.
  • Subscription: billing status from Stripe via RevenueCat. We never store your card details.

Chrome extension.The Creator Creator extension for Chrome reads the address of the tab you are on only when you open it or press Save, and sends us that address when you save it (or the link you right-click and save). It does not read the content of the pages you visit, your browsing history, or your cookies for other sites. It keeps its own sign-in in Chrome’s extension storage on your computer, and sends usage events (installed, signed in, saved, and why a save did not work) to our analytics, without session recording. Signing out of the extension removes its sign-in from your computer.

2. How we use it

  • To run the Service: AI analysis on your saves, build your Creative DNA, power chat with Cici.
  • To send transactional emails (account confirmations, billing notifications, preview status).
  • To operate, debug, and improve the product.

We do not sell your data, and we don’t use your saved content to train external AI models.

3. Where data lives

Account data and saved content are stored in Supabase (Postgres, US-East region). AI processing routes through Anthropic, OpenAI, and Groq for transcription. Public-platform metadata (post stats, creator avatars) is fetched via ScrapeCreators and SocialCrawl. Email is sent via Resend. Analytics events go to PostHog.

4. Sharing

We share data only with the third-party processors above, each acting under a data-processing agreement. We may disclose data when required by law (subpoena, court order). We don’t share for advertising.

5. Your rights

You can access, export, or delete your data at any time from Settings → Privacy. EU/UK users have additional rights under GDPR (rectification, restriction, portability): email hello@creatorcreator.app and we’ll respond within 30 days.

6. Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. After account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days (some backups may persist up to 90 days for disaster recovery).

7. Cookies

We use first-party cookies for authentication (Supabase session) and for analytics (PostHog). No third-party advertising cookies.

8. Children

The Service is not intended for users under 13. We don’t knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect.
